Identify a consultant with a proven track record in factory moves
Relocate the operation to a new 100,000 sq. ft facility with zero interruption to customer delivery commitments

How did you help Contracts Engineering?

With a new factory in place, turnover and profits up by nearly 300% in 6 years and a growing workforce, early 2019 was an exciting time for Contracts Engineering.

Mark worked wit the Operations manager and his team from initial planning stage right through to installation and commissioning of machines and equipment.

The initial planning strategy involved a Transformation mapping process applying Lean manufacturing principles which enabled all team members to have a say in the move.

Workstreams were identified and tasks allocated to everyone. Project management meetings focused on tracking the plan and ensuring that the projected cost were kept in line with budget

Results Achieved

In January 2019, the company completed its move to a new factory a mile and half from its existing site.
The move went smoothly, on time and to budget with no significant interruption to scheduled customers deliveries.
Plans in place for the latest advanced manufacturing technology and processes to further accelerate growth
